About Contributing


Conservation Value Institute is grateful for any financial support that you or your business can contribute. We frugally invest all contributions, with support directed at the development and marketing of our web site, events and other services.

Conservation Value Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Contributions, gifts, and membership dues to are tax deductible. When we receive your contribution, we will send you a thank you card that can be used for your tax records. If for any reason you do not receive a card, or you lose the record of your gift, please don't hesitate to contact us for a new card or letter.

Any amount you can spare is graciously appreciated.

Volunteer, Intern, or Start a Local Chapter


Volunteer: Conservation Value Institute is always looking for volunteers to help with various parts of our organization. Gain valuable experience and references!

Intern: We welcome interns, especially from universities and graduate programs. We encourage university career services offices to contact us for more information about our intern program. Interns interested in environmental science, policy, management, and economics, green or socially responsible business, environmental education, communication and marketing, environmental journalism, and web site design and development will gain valuable experience by spending a summer, semester, or longer working for Conservation Value Institute. As a non-profit organization, donations made to Conservation Value Institute to support interns are tax deductible.

Start a Local or University Chapter: We encourage you to start a local chapter of Conservatoin Value Institute! Local chapters help Conservation Value Institue by (1) researching and spreading awareness about where people and businesses can find green products and services in your area; (2) researching and entering local and online merchants of green products and services into our Green Products & Servces Database, and (3) contributing preview,review, and case study articles relevant to Conservation Value Institute's mission.

Contribute Monthly


Monthly contributions are especially helpful. They ensure that Conservation Value Institute can be consistently proactive in bringing you information about economic, health, and quality of life benefits of sustainable products and practices by providing a steady and reliable source of funding. Monthly gifts are also convenient for you because they can break down your payments into smaller chunks and cut down on time, energy, and paper use. As a monthly donor, you will never receive a renewal notice in the mail. If at any time you need to change or cancel your contributions, you can do so with just a phone call or email.

Planned Giving


There are a variety of ways to make a lasting contribution toward a better world and help us provide you with environmentally friendly ways to save money and live a healthier life. Below is a summary of the various ways you can make a financial commitment from your will, living trust, or other estate plans to support Conservation Value Institute.

Planned Giving Options

Bequests: Make a gift to support Conservatoin Value in your will or living trust. Sample bequest language is available.

Retirement Plan Assets: Use your tax deferred retirement plan assets to simultaneously benefit our environment, economy, and quality of life.

Life Income Gifts: Transfer assets to Conservation Value Institute and you and your chosen beneficiary receive income for a term of years or for life. After the conclusion of the term, the remainder of the life income gift is distributed to Conservation Value Institute.

Workplace Giving
