Conservation Value Institute (CVI) currently seeks several interns and volunteers to join our team (hours flexible).

The ideal candidates for the below positions will be passionate about sustainability, reliable and hard working, and will have a strong interest in helping to achieve CVI's mission.

Intern and volunteer positions are unpaid, but we are happy to work with top candidates to secure donations, grants and fellowships to support their work. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Positions are in the following areas, with current priority needs in editorial/writing, fund development, web development, and accounting:

1 . Editorial - Content Development, Blogging, Writing, Editing, Graphic Design – Sustainability and conservation mavens (from writers to scientists to business experts) sought to assist with and help oversee the development and maintenance of web site and blog content, writing, editing, graphic design, layout and production of marketing, fundraising, and other organizational materials.

2. Fund Development & Grant Writing – Assist with the development and management of grant writing and securing donations to support several exciting mission-focused research and education programs.

Programs involve (1) researching and (2) educating the public in the multiple benefits of green products and ecosystem services, with emphasis on advancing public understanding of how a healthy environment promotes and a healthy economy, healthy people, and a better quality of life.

3. Web Site and Database Development and Administration. Also Web and Graphic design – Two to three separate needs (which can be met by the same person, but don't need to be): (1) complete the architecture and re-design of this web site, and (2) help integrate the new site design with a new content management system, and (3) oversee the testing and launching of site. Aspiring programmers, designers, and project managers interested in gaining valuable experience and exposure for their work, and making key connections in the sustainability field encouraged to apply.

4. Marketing & Publicity – Help ensure that the public is aware of and uses CVI's online library of sustainability, that users become donors, and purchase our merchandise. Help develop and manage CVI’s image, branding and promotions, including as part of our work with our music industry partners.
