
Conservation Value Institute (CVI) currently
seeks several interns and volunteers to join our team (hours flexible; undergraduate and graduate students encouraged to apply ).
The
ideal candidates for the below positions will be passionate
about sustainability, reliable and hard working, and will have
a strong interest in helping to achieve CVI's mission.
Intern and volunteer positions are unpaid,
but we are happy to work with top candidates to secure donations, grants and fellowships to support their
work. Academic credit available. Please don't hesitate to contact

Positions are in the following areas, with current priority needs in web design/development, sustainability research and writing/editorial, fund development, and legal:
1. Web Site Design and Development. Also Graphic Design –
Two to three separate needs (which can be met by the same person, but don't need to be):
(a) complete the architecture and re-design (page-mockups) of this web site; also assist in graphic design of CVI's organizational reports and tip sheets; and
(b) help integrate the new site design with a new CMS/content management system (e.g. Drupal, Ruby On Rails, WordPress's server-based CMS, etc)
Detailed project description document available upon receipt of resume and cover letter. Aspiring web designers and developers interested
in gaining valuable experience and exposure for their work,
and making key connections in the sustainability and music industries, encouraged to apply.
2 . Sustainability Research and Writing - Sustainability Research, Content Development, Blogging, Writing, Editing – Sustainability and conservation mavens (from writers to scientists to business experts) sought to assist with and help oversee the development and maintenance of research reports and tip sheets, web site and blog
content, writing, editing, graphic design, layout and production
of marketing, fundraising, and other organizational materials.
Undergraduate and graduate students seeking course-related, Master's, and other academic projects encouraged to apply - academic credit available.
3. Fund Development & Grant Writing – Assist with the development and management of grant writing and securing donations to support several exciting mission-focused research and education programs.

4. An attorney with expertise in non-profit law to provide assistance in making sure our i's are dotted and t's crossed with respect to 501c3 compliance and other organizational legal matters.
